Asnuntuck Community College’s May 2013 commencement ceremonies will feature remarks by the Commissioner of Connecticut’s Department of Labor Sharon Palmer, Chairman for the Board of Regents for Higher Education Lewis Robinson Jr. and Chairperson for Asnuntuck Community College’s Foundation Karen Jarmoc. Commencement will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31 on ACC’s fields behind the college.
On May 5, let’s celebrate life, together. Walkers of all ages are invited to walk at their own pace to help raise funds for the H&CHS Hospice Program. This First Annual event will be held at the Asnuntuck Community College track. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., with the walk and a live butterfly release at 10:00 a.m. Complimentar
Asnuntuck's Office of Workforce Development & Continuing Education will honor its certificate program graduates on Wednesday, June 5 from 6-7 p.m. in the ACC Auditorium. Graduates should arrive at 5:45 p.m. and assemble in the hall in front of the auditorium. Each graduate should also wear a white blouse or shirt and is allowed to invite up to four guests.

Students from Asnuntuck Professor Edwina Trentham’s class, Poetry and Women’s Lives, will share their poetry at a Coffee House reading on Monday, April 15, 2013. The reading is part of Asnuntuck Community College’s ongoing Coffee House Series and will take place in Café II from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the college on 170 Elm Street, Enfield.
