Open House

The Manufacturing Center at Asnuntuck Community College is hosting an open house on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in 139D. The college is located at 170 Elm Street in Enfield. Come and see for yourself the wonderful opportunities that students have for a viable career in manufacturing. Manufacturing is booming, and the jobs are there for people that are trained in these areas.

Stay tuned for future manufacturing open house dates. These events allow you to come into our facility and experience the opportunities available to if you pursue a career in manufacturing.

Our programs include Precision Machining Technology, Welding Technology, Electronics Technology, and Electro/Mechanical Technology.  Parents, educators, and students are  welcome.  

Financial aid and scholarships are available for qualified candidates. The future lies in manufacturing, and we have the ability to train you in the technologies those jobs require.   


We prepare our students for a career in manufacturing by providing classroom instruction, computer, and hands-on training in a lab environment.  

Students can earn a one-year certificate or a two-year associate's degree, and we place 9 out of 10 graduates within 3 months.  Internships at manufacturing companies are available for qualified students.
