Annual Appeal Information

Asnuntuck Community College Foundation 2013 Annual Appeal

Did you know that just for $1.39 a day, less than the average price of a cup of coffee, you can help a student pay for a 3-credit course at Asnuntuck Community College? Or for $5.19 a day, you can help a student pay for an entire semester? With the growing economic challenges our students face, they need your support more than ever.

Annually, the Asnuntuck Community College Foundation reaches out to the community, alumni and area businesses throughout this Annual Appeal to ask for their support.  The Foundation depends on the generous support from donors like you to help the college continue to provide scholarships, to fund mini-grants for special student programs, and to support student success.  ACC has been serving students for 40+ years and they are the ones who benefit from the funds raised by the Foundation.

In 2013, the Foundation was able to donate $10,000 for a new digital sign on the front lawn in honor of President Martha McLeod's retirement and her 10 years of service to the college, awarded more than $46,000 in student scholarships, and is continuing to fulfill their 3-year $90,000 commitment to the Academic Skills Center for student support to maximize retention and graduation.

Along with the Foundation Board, we are looking for your participation to keep this exceptional institution moving forward.  Enclosed is a donor envelope for your convenience that provides opportunities to support the Annual Appeal through a pledge or one-time gift.  For more information or to make a donation over the phone with a credit card, please contact Susan Beaudoin, Executive Assistant, at (860) 253-3001.

With deepest appreciation,

Asnuntuck Community College Foundation
